What you can expect
 

In this challenging and interesting position you are the expert for all topics related to product cyber security within Magna Powertrain. You will be in charge of defining and improving Magna’s cyber security processes and the implementation and compliance with these processes in our customer projects. Due to your expertise and your global focus you are the first point of contact for your colleagues form other departments, locations and countries. Your main tasks will include:

 

  • Develop and continuously improve product cyber security processes including templates and documentations
  • Improve and/or modify existing product cyber security concepts according to project needs
  • Implement a continuous cyber security monitoring process
  • Execute TARAs (Threat Analyses and Risk Assessments) according to ISO21434 and derive measures to ensure flawless cyber security concepts for customer application projects
  • Attend customer meetings and product cyber security assessments
  • Close cooperation with other sites (e.g. USA, India, China, Germany) to align common workflows and processes
  • Support several departments in the correct implementation of product cyber security topics (e.g. development, test, production line, warranty return)

 

What you bring along
 

  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering / electronics, automation technology, industrial electronics or similar
  • Relevant professional experience in engineering in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of cryptographic methods and their application in products
  • Highly structured way of working and an analytical mindset
  • Communicative personality with experience in dealing with distributed teams, suppliers and internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards (for example ISO21434) advantageous
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

In addition, commitment and qualification are valued by us: we pay more than we have to. For this position you get a salary starting from € 53.000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background. In addition, if you are not living in the country you are applying for, we offer you a relocation allowance, support with your visa, work permit, accommodation, language courses, and a dedicated buddy program.
