What you can expect 

As part of this position, you will work in a diverse and dynamic engineering environment and be responsible for the manufacturing, maintenance and testing of in-vehicle and off-vehicle PCB/PCBAs that must fulfill the high standards and quality requirements of the automotive industry. Specifically, the following tasks await you: 
 

  • Consulting the PCB/PCBA design team from the concept phase onwards in the development of the most effective solutions, considering the latest manufacturing processes 
  • Consulting the prototype team regarding assembly competence and definition of possible rework 
  • Supporting the process engineering team in finding cost-effective solutions for fully automated assembly lines 
  • Support of the quality team in root cause analysis 
  • Creation, ongoing maintenance and optimization of internal standards and training materials to ensure common understanding and consistent quality 

 

What you bring along 

  • Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience in the fields of PCB/PCBA design, manufacturing, modification, revision and/or testing 
  • Successful graduation of a higher, technical education (HTL/FH/TU) advantageous  
  • Understanding of electronic systems used in the automotive industry 
  • Expertise in the use of power supplies and multimeters  
  • Structured and organized approach to work coupled with attention to detail 
  • IPC knowledge advantageous  
  • Strong communication skills in German and English 
  • High willingness to travel on business (mainly within Europe but partly also globally)

In addition, commitment and qualification are valued by us: we pay more than we have to. For this position you get a salary starting from € 48,000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week).
