Paint Intern

Role Summary

The main objective of the Paint Department is to efficiently and consistently produce a high-quality painted product that meets all our customers’ appearance specifications using robotic paint applicators. Each day the intern would be involved in learning the steps of the painting process from the part surface preparation to editing robotic motion and spray parameters to microscopic analysis of paint thickness. The student would work side by side with other experienced Process Engineers who have the knowledge and trouble shooting skills developed internally from diving deep into the process each day.

• Must be enrolled in a 4-year University working towards a degree in Engineering or related field. 

• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

• Strong written and verbal skills.
