Key Responsibilities

In this position, as an interface between the business and IT, you will lead projects for the evolvement of the business system landscape. The objective is to lead different projects & ensure proper interfaces between various systems according our System Architecture. This will include the following activities:

  • Manage execution of large, complex cross-functional projects and programs from beginning to end including all phases – planning, requirements, design, testing, rollout and continuous improvements
  • Collaborate with the IT and functional teams to define project scope and all required deliverables, activities, activity sequence, Work Break-down Structure, and work estimates to create a framework for the project schedule
  • Manage all aspects of the project including the plan, resources, dependencies, change management, and budget
  • Understand and integrate all aspects of change management into each project to proactively manage the change for customers and stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and determine the project's acceptance criteria/critical success factors and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project
  • Measure progress and monitor performance (overall, scope, schedule, costs, quality)
  • Actively monitor project dependencies and risks
  • Actively manage risks including issue escalation and resolution
  • Lead, motivate, manage and support assigned team members to ensure adherence to processes and procedures and to maximize contribution to effectiveness and efficiency
  • Present project status in front of senior and executive leadership
  • Manage conflicts that may arise during project and program execution
  • Conduct post-project implementation reviews to document lessons learned and provide to organization to update applicable methodology, tools, templates


Key Qualifications/Requirements


  • Degree in business administration, business informatics (university or college) or comparable professional experience
  • At least 5 years of work experience in program / project management
  • Experience with the financial controlling of projects 
  • Practice with agile software project management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and business process modelling 
  • Good communication skills and you feel able to address uncomfortable issues directly
  • Ambitions to take on responsibility and work independently
  • Very good German and English communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness for global business travels

Our plant in Lannach with around 2000 employees can be easily reached from Graz via motorway in just 15 min and is also the favorite destination of Styrians – the South Styrian Wine Route is very close for an after-work trip.


Our location in St. Valentin with around 800 employees is easily accessible by car and public transport because of to the good connection to the West Autobahn (A1) and Westbahn Railway. The unique Mostviertler natural and cultural landscape around St. Valentin offers a wide range of leisure activities. Urban flair can be found in the nearby the capital of Upper Austrian, Linz.

For this function, we offer an attractive compensation package that matches your individual experience and qualifications. The gross monthly salary corresponding to the metal collective agreement for 38.5 hours is at least € 3.878,41 (14 x p.a.). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background.
