Mould Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

The Mould Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out planned, unplanned and predictive maintenance in line with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Able to carry out planned, unplanned and predictive maintenance in line with company goals and objectives

Able to work as part of a team within the Maintenance Department to ensure uptime is optimised

Liaise with various departments to resolve any issues that arise

Implement and take part in Continuous Improvement activities including facilitation of regular meetings

Ensure equipment utilisation is optimised through effective planned maintenance and continuous improvement

Ensure breakdown conditions are attended to promptly and effectively

Responsible for champion activities in line with department goals

Ensure all HSE is adhered to including risk assessments, accident/incident reports completed and escalated to HSE Manager

Participate in department cost saving exercises

Ensure 5s is maintained within your working area

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Time served apprentice in related engineering discipline – Electrical

Experience of working with large injection mould machinery

Educated through NVQ level and above

Good understanding of a working on automated paint line

Good understanding of HSE requirements within a manufacturing environment

Proven Ability to manage daily priorities

Understand and comply with Customer Specific Requirements

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Good problem-solving skills

Good I.T skills and P.C literacy
