Paint Process Technician

Role Summary

The role holder will be responsible for monitoring the production of parts through processes within the Paint Technical department

ensuring daily targets are achieved

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all paint shop safety procedures and requirements are adhered to

Ensure all production equipment is ready and up to required standard for production

Understand and comply with Customer Specific Requirements for their area of work

Communicate across shift any issues that would affect production in all areas

Monitor the production of product through the spray booths and ensuring daily RFT targets are achieved

Proactively apply problem-solving tool when quality concerns arise

Liaise with on-load/off-load to ensure daily JIT requirements are met

Ensure IATF16949:2016 and ISO14001 documentation is completed

Strip down and cleaning of production equipment as and when required including a TPM procedure

Support Yield and Utilization teams and program launches

Develop and facilitate C.I. projects within the cleanroom and spray booth

Facilitate and champion route cause analyses team’s and quality defects

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Qualified and experienced in a relative discipline, preferably mathmatics

Abel to communicate effectively across a variety of platforms

Strong team work ethic

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use route cause analysis tools

Knowledge of calibrating of all paint spraying equipment’s such as ITW and Accuflow

Knowledge of disassembling and full clean down of production equipment
