Role Summary

To support the APQP/QS team in ensuring processes are carried out in compliance with quality standards, Company processes, and Project requirements. To achieve Project quality objectives and targets (efficiency and effectiveness).

Key Responsibilities

To lead activities supporting compliance with IATF16949:2016, MAFACT and related Customer Specific Requirements (including VDA, Formel Q, D/TLD, VA/SL, JLRQ, Nissan, Stellantis (Opel Vauxhall) QSB+, Magna Supply Chain Requirements etc.) for their area of work.

To support with validation of the MMOG/LE Assessments.

To support the APQP activities required for successful execution of all programs.

To liaise with Customers as required by business needs (i.e. PPAP activities).

To support cross functional development and implementation of process documentation from prototype to production, and its subsequent changes for PPAP purposes.

To support Run @ Rate activities.

To support APQP Engineers with initial review of data which will be uploaded to customer portals for PPAP purposes. Actively chase improvement where required.

To support engineering changes on existing products and processes (PPAP).

To support successful implementation of corrective actions identified during external and internal quality audits.

To lead implementation of the Merplas MSA Procedure for visual inspection.

To lead the implementation of Magna Quality Standards across the plant.

To lead review and improvement of the Quality Section of the MAFACT Assessment.

To lead updates of the top level QMS Documentation.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Experience of working in a quality control/assurance operational role in an automotive or manufacturing environment.

Completion of IATF 16949:2016 Awareness course.

Certification in AIAG or VDA or working towards.

Proven experience of participation in new product introduction and change management activities.

Proven experience of implementing processes in line with ISO process approach

The ability to develop and implement processes and procedures in accordance with IATF 16949:2016 and other standards

The ability to communicate clearly in a variety of settings.
