Role Summary

The Sr. Test Manager leads the complete System Test Area, which contains: Function

Performance Test, Integration and Verification Test and Vehicle Assembly & Vehicle Test through

an ADAS Project including the direct contact for customer and Budget owner of the System Test

area.

Key Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)

8+ years’ relevant experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of the ADAS specific testing area
  • Knowledge of project planning and control
  • Knowledge of Budget planning

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of product development engineering practices ADAS area and Requirements management
  • Revision and Change control and Test plan development
  • Requirements decomposition planning and reporting (KPI generation)
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE process
  • Advanced knowledge in HIL procedures and equipment as well as OEM test specifications and methods (DV/PV/EMC)
  • Profound technical knowledge of automotive electronics products. Familiar with automotive OEM requirements.
  • Anticipation of customer requirements
  • Experienced in use of requirements management tools.
  • Familiar with concepts (base lining, inheritance etc.)
  • Working knowledge of IS026262, hazard, SAE J2464, IEC, NEC, ISO 20G53, and two-level fault strategies
  • Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques

Education and computer skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)

8+ years’ relevant experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities (listed above) for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of the ADAS specific testing area
  • Knowledge of project planning and control

Computer Skills: 

  • Knowledge of MS Office Package (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of analysis and engineering tools such as version control/configuration management, UML tools, static code check tools and ALM tools (PTC Integrity)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
  • Able to work in distributed global team environment
  • Good English and German skills are essential
  • Ability to coordinate a team of Test and Tools Engineers
