Production Associate

About the Role

As a member of a cross-functional team, performs semi-skilled production machine operations to assemble/fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team goals. May perform work manually and/or by machine operation which requires in-depth knowledge of process and constant monitoring. Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem solving activities. Makes machine adjustments and typically manages several variables within the process. Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area. Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation to guide operations of the team.

Your Responsibilities

• Executes diverse duties within the assigned team, including machine operation, assembly, trimming, material handling, and inspection.
• Conducts semi-skilled production tasks to meet team production goals, utilizing manual and/or machine operation methods with a focus on maintaining process knowledge and vigilance.
• Ensures product and process quality through meticulous inspection, adapts to machine adjustments, manages multiple variables, and upholds standards to adhere to quality benchmarks. Manages material movement systems, facilitates team operations through paperwork completion, and provides training as needed. Adheres to health, safety, and environmental protocols, promptly reporting any issues, and fulfills additional assigned duties.

Your preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with manufacturing experience preferred, demonstrating proficiency in operating job-related equipment.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities for teamwork.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including prolonged standing, repetitive lifting, and adaptability to manage multiple issues concurrently.
