Role Summary

The ERP Analyst role is to serve as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, end-user support and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution as it pertains to Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP-CMS), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES-Ignition)

Key Responsibilities

•    Evaluate business requirements, areas of improvement and recommend appropriate solutions 
•    Analyzes, unit tests, and implements ERP modules for various projects and enhancements
•    Updates maintains and reviews ERP User and Group roles and management
•    Identifies system changes impacted by new and changed functionality for ERP, EDI and MES modules
•    Documents Business Process Procedures (BPP), configuration changes and functional and technical specifications 
•    Interacts and communicates design and configuration requirements to internal and external customers/vendors
•    Performs changes that adhere to ITIL best practices 
•    Completes periodic internal audits to ensure compliance is met with Magna, Cosma and Sarbanes Oxley audits
•    Follow and comply with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF 16949, ISO14001)
•    Understand, promote and live by Magna’s philosophies and Employee Charter
•    Adhere to Modatek’s core values; integrity, respect, trust, honesty, fairness and loyalty
•    Perform other duties as required
•    Arranges procurement of hardware\software and peripherals, coordinate activities with contractors to complete tasks\projects in conjunction with IT Management
•    Enforce Sarbanes Oxley IT Standards\Best Practices
•    Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (ie. IATF 16949, ISO14001)
•    Understands, promotes and lives by Magna’s philosophies and Employee Charter
•    Adheres to Modatek’s core values; integrity, respect, trust, honesty, fairness and loyalty
•    Performs other duties as required

Key Qualifications/Requirements

•    College diploma/Certification in Computer Information Systems or Equivalent Work Experience
•    Five (5) years’ experience with Information Systems
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Leadership and project management experience
•    Ability to work effectively in a team environment
•    Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
•    Ability to uphold confidentiality
•    Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs
