About the Role

 

As our HR Manager you will be part of the plant's leadership team. In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources processes including Talent Attraction & Employer Branding, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits and employee relations. You will be responsible for the establishment of a company culture built on our core values and global leadership competencies. 

Your Responsibilities

 

In this role you will be working together with the HR Project Team during the ramp-up phase of the plant. You will ramp-up the HR Organization according to the requirements of the ramp-up plan. Afterwards you will be independently responsible for:

 

  • Leading the HR department, as well as outside consultants such as recruitment specialists
  • Implementation of Magna standards in all HR processes, following Magna's Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies
  • Providing guidance to management teams in HR matters
  • Collaborating with the management team on incorporating company culture
  • Working with our HR Systems team to design, integrate and implement HR Systems for better efficiency
  • Total Rewards by considering local competition
  • Employer Branding in cooperation with Marketing/Communications
  • Setting up collaborations with external partners (training providers, high schools, universities, technical colleges, ...)
  • Adherence to all internal policies and legal standards as well as execution of disciplinary actions
  • Interface to the internal governmental affairs department with regards to potential public fundings

Who we are looking for

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law or related fields (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience gained through increasingly responsible positions in Human Resources and leading HR teams
  • Advanced knowledge about local and international HR processes, employment legislation and legal regulations
  • Good understanding of and experience with the implementation of Talent Attraction and Employer Branding strategies
  • Proven ability to work in complex matrix organizations

Your preferred qualifications

 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Knowledge of HR tools and recruiting software is an advantage (Workday, Success Factors)
