About the Role

 

As an Industrial Controls Engineer, you will be part of a project team, consisting of several experienced engineers. Based on your experience and know-how, you will be responsible for developing & improving test/control systems.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Support engineering and manufacturing efforts in Advanced Vehicle Drive Systems technologies
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineers to capture and interpret component and vehicle level requirements and translate them into a scalable level validation performed at the end of the assembly line process
  • Develop procedure and necessary tools to test, calibrate and verify the Advanced Drive System hardware and software
  • Work with test equipment providers to formulate a test plan and integrate the new test features into existing or new equipment
  • Fully support the implementation of the testing strategy at the assembly plant and provide feedback to the development team
  • Define, document and provide instructions for creating control architecture specifications
  • Review supplier proposals with focusing on controls sections
  • Develop new controls strategies as necessary
  • Planning support for serial production

Who we are looking for

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Relevant professional experience in the automotive industry 
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Targetlink, simulation and algorithm/controls development 
  • Experience with Vector tools for network design/analysis
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience with HIL systems and demonstration units as well as conducting testing, data collection and data analysis
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Professional experience in intercultural teams
  • Fluent in English

Your preferred qualifications

 

  • First-hand experience in design testing, electrical or software engineering 
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop constantly
