About the Role

 

The Logistic Equipment and Packaging Planning Engineer role combines the important logistics equipment engineering and packaging planning in one role. You will be part of the Supply Chain department reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor. You will plan, manage and optimize the inhouse logistic equipment and packaging.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, design, manage and optimize use of inhouse logistic equipment
    • high-bay racks, block storage
    • forklifts, tugger trains
    • racks at the production line
  • Commissioning of logistic equipment
  • Plan, design, manage and optimize packaging
    • inhouse circulating load carrier (internal dunnage)
    • frequently and spontaneously changing one-way packaging
    • returnable packaging
  • Change management for logistic equipment and packaging
  • Interface to system experts, manufacturing and material flow planning engineering
  • Establishes best practice and lessons learned

Who we are looking for

 

  • High School Degree (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of SAP (Warehouse Management, Materials Management and Distribution)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English

Your preferred qualifications

 

  • Higher technical education in logistics, supply chain management or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Fluent in Spanish
