About the Role
As Planner Materials Management you will be part of the Supply Chain department reporting to the Supervisor Supply Chain. You will plan, maintain, and optimize the inhouse material flow.
Your Responsibilities
- Development and standardization of efficient processes and systems (continious improvement).
- Support in the implementation of innovative logistics processes and systems
- Organize and lead regular meetings with Production and Supply Chain teams for process and packaging.
- Planning and implementation of optimized logistics processes.
- Optimize and ensure process and materials management system performance is adequate.
- Conducting materials management systems training.
- Project management, planning, implementation, and operration of IT systems for the Supply Chain group.
- Planning of material flow and equipment for inhouse production.
- Coordination and implementation of packaging in-house and with customers or suppliers.
Who we are looking for
- High School Degree (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of SAP (Warehouse Management, Materials Management and Distribution)
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain projects or production planning in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven knowlege of time analysis
- Fluent in English
Your preferred qualifications
- Higher technical education in logistics, supply chain management or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluent in Spanish
