About the Role

The Team Lead - Engieering Robustness & Compliance plays a crucial role in leading the EU team members to ensure engineering governance activities are carried out effectively. This includes ensuring quality and legal compliance, conducting robustness improvements in running programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the EU team, overseeing engineering governance activities for all programs in the camera product area.
  • Guide the team in developing and continuously improving methods, tools, and processes to enhance their effectiveness in engineering governance activities.
  • Take responsibility for team members' performance, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their technical competence.
  • Report on the overall status of supervised programs, including robustness, quality, and compliance metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement solutions and action plans.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure the team follows the established communication and escalation process to address issues and resolve challenges effectively.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Automotive Program Quality, Automotive Processes, or Engineering.
  • Knowledge/Experience in programs with launch readiness in ADAS/AD product areas.
  • Knowledge/Experience of problem-solving methods such as 5Why, 8D, or Fishbone analysis.
  • 2 years’ experience in disciplinary leadership of a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English/German (speak & write).
  • Willingness to travel within the EU to support program activities and collaborate with stakeholders.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge/Experience in camera product key technical topics, such as optics, camera electronics, etc.
  • Knowledge/Experience of handling customer complaints and warranty topics, with a focus on driving customer satisfactions and resolution.
  • Knowledge/Experience of handling management-level customer escalations, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
