Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and assignment of all activities realted to maintenance and facility operations.  The position supports leadership and maintenance personnel by acting as a liasion in matters regarding policy application, employee relations, and continuous improvement for processes and productivity.  This is an off shift position and will have direct or indirect responsibility for approximately 15 employees.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinates preventative and predictive maintenance with the technicians and production planners; conducts daily communication meetings with department personnel; assists maintenance personnel with repairs, modifications and installation activities; participates in manpower planning, scheduling and assists with capacity planning to meet future objectives; complies with all Health and Safety programs in accordance with OSHA and ensures Company procedures are followed; conducts regular department meetings to communicate safety, quality, productivity concerns and information; conducts and participates in training as required.

Required Skills, Education & Experience

Completion of a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, or certification of Qualification for Electrical/Millwright/Tool & Die or equivalent related work experience.  Minimum 5 years of related work experience in automotive manufacturing operations with a minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience.  Highly knowledgeable in Robotics, PLC and Electrical, Mechanical and machining processes.  Proficient in Microsoft Office products and manufacturing operation systems such as ERP, MES, Preventive Maintenance, etc.  Must posses strong math skills with the aility to apply costs and analyze data, and have exceptional planning and organizations skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail.

Additional Information

The Maintenance Supervisor works independently and confers regularly with division and corporate employees, contractors, customers, and suppliers.  Travel and overtime may be required to meet customer expectations.  A valid driver's license and passport are required for travel.  This is manufacturing plant environment and the candidate will be exposed to some elements such as noise and temperature.  Must be able to interact effectively with team members and maintain confidentiality.  Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours.  This is an off-shift position.
