Position Summary

The Quality Document Control Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the IATF16949:2016, BIQS and ISO19001.2015 requirements throughout the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support external audits, coordinating activities in document control ensuring timely response to documentation requests for auditors; Responsible for overall coordination of controlled documentation within the company; Investigates and responds to corrective actions related to Document Control, Training and External Standards; Assists with ISO, IATF & BIQS implementation regarding Documentation and Procedures; Assist in problem solving, implementation of corrective and preventative actions, and continuous improvement plans; Analyze documents and records management problems; Conducts document and records management training for department staff; advises on appropriate procedures for preserving, storing, retrieving, retaining and destroying records in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of Associates' Degree in related technical field or equivalent work experience in Quality function; certified Lead Auditor for TS16949 with 5+ years' experience auditing, Experience with electronic Document Control; strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Quality Technician training and/or experience desired; Best In Quality Standard (BIQS) and/or Quality Systems Basics (QSB+) [GM Standards] experience preferred.  Strong organizational and communication skills a must.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with a variable workload.

Additional Information

Under the general direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Document Control Coordinator works independently and with each department to ensure successful implementation of programs & projects.  Overtime may be required to meet program expectations.  The Quality Document Control Coordinator may be exposed to elements such as temperature and noise during time spent in the plant.  Ability to obtain and retain a valid passport is required.
