Role Summary

•    To persuade and support the following of Company policies and business objectives in the daily management of the operations of the Company.
•    To identify growth and developmental opportunities and on-going training needs of engineering personnel, which provide for an overall positive working environment.
•    To observe Norplas health and safety objectives and support Company directed health and safety directives which provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all Norplas employees. 
•    Manage/supervise all Service related activities therein by meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers, both internally and externally:
a)    by supporting continuous improvement in APQP concepts; and
b)    by developing procedures and work instructions that support APQP and TS-16949 requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1)    Manage all program costs related to service and packaging to budget.
2)    Prepare request for quote packages for service packaging to potential suppliers, and work with Purchasing on competitive analyses for awarding business.
3)    Support Service Coordinator and Program Managers with maintaining program information sheets, bill of material, Service Engineering change tracking, and related APQP documentation.
4)    Participate in activities and meetings as required for the successful execution of required action plans for the launch of assigned programs.
5)    Participate in and present information/data as required at Customer initiated meetings.
6)    Define Customer needs and expectations for Service including packaging.
7)    Establish Customer milestones from design to production, coordinating first shipments for flawless launch.
8)    Maintain an up-to-date Service Open Issues List.

9)    Provide cost and timing as require for all changes to Customer packaging and/or service program.
10)     Assist in the development of methods, procedures and work instructions  to successfully manage:
          a.    competitive quoting for service 
          b.    effective cost tracking
11)     Conduct packaging trials and maintain Customer specific packaging,  forms and approval forms.
12)     Perform other duties and special projects as required.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

•    Minimum five years program management experience,
•    Must have strong leadership ability

Additional Information

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging or Engineering preferred.
