•    Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of Norplas to provide for a safe and healthful workplace.  Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected.  Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
•    Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
•    To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Norplas.
•    To perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of your assigned department per the established procedures and work guidance.
•    Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.
•    Meet or exceed daily robotic goals as directed by the Mold Robotic Engineer and the departmental objectives.
•    Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Mold Robotic Engineer.
•    Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, business use only.
•    Must be able to work overtime as needed in accordance with Company Policy.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by the Mold Robotic Engineer.
 

Key Responsibilities

•    Maintain records of work performed as required using PMC System and work order procedure.
•    Demonstrate the ability to program robots. This includes but not limited to jogging the robot, modifying positions, adding or removing logic in the program as well as the PLC.
•    Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace all components of robots and de-gating equipment. This includes, but is not limited to all buck nests, EOA’s and knife tools.
•    Demonstrate the ability to perform daily audits as well as preventative and predictive maintenance on all robotic equipment in the Mold Department repairing and replacing parts as necessary.
•    Must demonstrate the ability to use required hand tools for the robotic cells and have all tools and equipment required to perform work prior to beginning at Norplas.  
•    Must demonstrate the ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
•    Must supply tool list as identified (see attached).
 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

•    Associate’s Degree required.  Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.  Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.

Additional Information

•    Working knowledge of robotic programming and PLC experience preferred.
•    Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
