Role Summary

To ensure the achievement of the targets defined for profit, costs, investments, quality and timing for the projects under his responsibility.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare with the corresponding KAM between RFQ and offer presentation to customer in the preparation of the pre-project dossier.
  • Lead and cooperate the SCC process with the KAM and the Projects Director and participate in their follow-up meetings. 
  • Coordinate the project team work, distributing activities and ensuring their end on time with the quality and costs required.
  • Direct the progress of the project through periodical report meetings according to the established FDS phases.
  • Maintain a fluid level of communication with the client and the different internal OLSA departments, ensuring the projects confidentiality.
  • Inform the Projects Vice President about the different incidences that may appear during the project life-cycle.
  • Control the project costs and investments, analyzing the deviations and proposing corrective action plans with the assistance of the local controller.
  • Control all the aspects of the project that can affect its quality, timing and industrialization. Manage aspects of “project risk”.
  • Guarantee the use of the standard solutions and of technical development in coherence with the performance objectives of the industrial area.
  • Ensure that the team members use its own and client technical documentation, in accordance with the procedures defined by OLSA.
  • Guarantee the definition and development of the tests and certifications in accordance with the established planning for the client.
  • Manage its team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation.
  • Provide his/her team with the necessary means to comply with Health & Safety and Environment rules and assure they are properly used.
  • Actively cooperate with the Department in the maintenance, promotion and improvement of  Occupational Safety and Health  (OSH) and Environment.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION LEVEL AND MATTERS OF STUDIES:

University degree

 

ADDITIONAL TRAINING:

Project Management; Finances fundamentals, APQP, PPAP

 

REQUESTED WORK EXPERIENCES:

3 years in similar position in a multinational company of the industrial sector, with preference on the automotive one.

 

LANGUAGES:

English (Advanced Level). Desirable second language according to project assignment.
