Role Summary

Students will integrate with the team and work directly with the Engineering staff to perform daily assignments that support product development. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and test of embedded software for controlling Lighting systems. 
  • Students will be exposed to different embedded software development environments, C-Code, development tools including compilers, programmers, debuggers, in-circuit emulators.  
  • Design, analysis, test case development, testing of software.
  • Students will be exposed to development tools for interactively communication on vehicle networks via CAN and LIN protocols.  
  • Students will support R&D projects and efforts as directed by the R&D supervisor. 
  • Student will interact with Magna R&D engineering, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. 
  • Students will integrate with the team and work directly with the Engineering staff to perform daily assignments that support product development.

Students will be required to develop and present a summary of their experience and what was learned during the assignment.  Presentations are given to Sr. Management, supervisor, and HR.
