Role Summary
Students will build engineering skills while working directly with experienced Cosma personnel to participate in all aspects of the design and manufacturing process from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support and assistance in the design and development of automotive body and chassis systems.
• Assist product engineers and program managers with program issues.
• Analyze design problems and implement corrective actions.
• Create design specifications for a variety of components.
• Evaluate product designs for accuracy and feasibility relative to customer specifications.
• Develop and maintain program engineering documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and participate in testing activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Some related experience preferred
• High School Diploma
• Currently Attending a College or University
• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
Additional Information
• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
