We are looking for an Assistant Plant Manager for our plant in Tangier Morocco for the next possible start date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management support (technical and organizational) to the Plant Manager in all areas as required.
  • Coordinate the industrial activity of the plant among the departments under responsibility.
  • Lead and control the plant´s performance, fix objectives and priorities and evaluate their results.
  • Assist the Plant Manager and other depts. in the preparation of the Business Plans, economic analysis and justification, analysis of deviations, etc.
  • Establish and maintain Control Systems/KPI´s /Reporting for periodic evaluation of targets and continuous Improvement evaluation.
  • Planning of activities and other resources connected with the deployment/arrival of new programs/projects.
  • Promote Improvement plans toward cost reduction, Quality, Safety and Environmental issues.
  • Promote good social climate with employees, communication plans, etc.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a responsibility position in Production, Quality, Processes or Engineering in an automotive company, preferably manufacturing metal components.
  • Extensive experience in Production management using Lean manufacturing tools and be a data driven, results oriented professional.
  • Must be used to pursue and achieve the established targets within a matrix model organization.
  • Must have a good knowledge of continuous Improvement techniques and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team’s environment.
  • Some experience in dealing with clients and suppliers as well as with workers representatives.
  • Some experience in results analysis of P&L and return on investments is desirable.
  • Engineering degree (preferably industrial).
  • Very good English, French must have or must learn, Arabic is a plus.
