About the Role

The Account Lead supports the finance team with sales figures for business planning and data for accurate business case creation. The Account Lead is the primary representative between Drive Automotive and the current customer base and is responsible for all commercial affairs with the customer and communication of these dealings within Drive.  This position is the “face” of Drive to the customer and therefore the associate must be professional, knowledgeable and accountable for all interactions with the customer. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with current customers utilizing and understanding specific customer’s systems and processes. 
  • Ensure that new and current program goals are achieved, as agreed with the Business Manager.  Measured by IRR, EBIT, and ROFE targets.  
  • Work closely with the Business Manager, AGM, GM, and Cosma teams to secure profitable new business and work to exceed the annual business plan.  
  • Prepare and present new business proposals to Drive/Magna and customers as required. 
  • Monitor project budgets by tracking the invoicing of customer purchase orders as well as requisitions related to the project and report out on these periodically through the project phase. 
  • Manage production and aftermarket pricing to ensure alignment between customer and finance during quoting, program launch, production, and service.  

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university (Engineering or Commercially related preferred, e.g. Business, Finance and Accounting, etc.).
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures 
  • Excellent customer relationship skills 
  • Excel / MS Office / PC skills 
  • Principles, theories, and practices of project management 
  • Strong business acumen

  • Able to perform under pressure and under time constraints

Pay range: $60,000 - $80,000
