About the Role

Stages and returns Dies to correct storage locations. Also responsible for communication of any issues found between production and tooling department.

The Die Mover is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the equipment they are responsible for including daily safety checks on the die cart they use and forward communication of any issues preventing this safe operation to their immediate supervisors.

  •  Responsible for monitoring the schedules and staging of all dies prior to line changes.

  • Responsible for the return of die sets to correct locations inside dedicated die storage areas.

  • Responsible for moving die-sets from one line to another, depending on press schedules.

  • Responsible for pre-staging dies in the tool rooms including flipping the dies to support tool and die including automation department, per P.M. or build schedules.

  • Responsible for washing and maintaining all die sets per plan

  • Communicate any needed repairs to supervisors.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5 S practices.

  • Operate overhead cranes.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Who we are looking for

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Three to six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Must have valid fork truck license and 6 months of experience driving it safely with no incidents or occurrences.
  • Must have 6 months of overhead crane operating experience. 
  • Able to lead by example, be trustworthy, and dependable.

Pay Range: $19.07 - $23.88 per hour
