About the Role

This position reporting directing to the mold maintenance manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below:

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute modifications or repairs of molds within specified time schedules.
  • Organize modifications and repairs to molds and provide all information required to production departments to allow for scheduling and completion of work.
  • Understand Decostar tooling specifications and ensure all production tools meet the requirements.
  • Check water system connections and ensure circuits are operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Execute lock out/tag out procedures as required on all molding department equipment and facilities.
  • Keep an open issue list for each tool, including open work orders for preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications.

Who we are looking for

  • Three years production environment experience in injection molding or related field.
  • Must achieve an acceptable score on Decostar's skill assessment test.
  • Must have excellent welding skills and experience with machine tool equipment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret tooling drawings.
  • Must have experience polishing and fitting tooling components.
  • Must have basic electrical skills.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical field of study.
  • Five years work related experience.
  • Work experience combined with schooling towards degree will be considered.
