Key Responsibilities
  • Help Organize the Mold Maintenance area, complete paperwork and be active in mold repairs as much as possible.
  • Maintain spare parts to include ordering of components.
  • Work towards 100% P.M. Attainment and maintain that standard.
  • Ensure your Mold Maintenance area is clean and safe and proper 5S being followed.
  • Maintain and monitor all procedures and documentation in accordance with TS16949 and any other standards/requirements as deemed necessary by Autosystems.
  • Ensure first inspections are being completed on every mold.
  • Help develop and maintain our mold Build Standards, and EOAT Standards.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to reduce cost and improve cycle times.
  • Support other teams with cost reduction implementations.
  • Support Production by resolving all tooling related issues in a timely matter.
  • Other duties as assigned by the divisional GM and AGM
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent   
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Mold Maintenance Repair Role.
  • Experience in machine shop techniques.
  • Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Proficient reading design drawings and blue prints, including a basic knowledge of GD&T.
  • Able to work flexible work hours, including unscheduled overtime when necessary
