Key Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support to the Maintenance Department.  Some of the duties of this position include the following:         
  • Requisitioning and expediting purchase orders for maintenance, repair and operational supplies;
  • Confirming receipt of supplies against packing slips and entering packing slip information into a database;
  • Distributing incoming supplies to proper areas and tracking inventories with Trans 4M;
  • Controlling flow of supplies from stores and ensuring proper tracking occurs (inventory change/ user / etc.);
  • Performing cycle counts to manage inventory levels for maximum efficiency;
  • Auditing supply inventories at various satellite locations throughout the plants;
  • Inputting of preventative maintenance (PM) documents into CMMS – maintain, monitor and schedule all preventative maintenance for all machines/tools in all facilities;
  • Ensure part lists and numbers are current and correct within the part tracking system;
  • Maintain a clean working environment with an emphasis on organization;
  • Generating daily/weekly/monthly reports for the maintenance department;
  • Monitor all Forklift activity and hours and provide reports to Management;
  • Work with outside suppliers for PM’s and Maintenance work required on Forklifts and other mobile equipment;
  • Update KPI charts and records weekly and monthly for Management review
  • All other maintenance administrative duties as required


Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Grade 12 Diploma required;
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, preferred.
