Role Summary
Produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee’s Charter and the policies and procedures of BGM.
Key Responsibilities
- Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies.
- Follows and supports and Magna’s operating principles, including:
- Magna Employee Charter – Operating under its principles by treating all team members equally, fairly and with dignity and respect.
- Abide by BGM policies and procedures as described in the most current version of the Team Member Handbook.
- Open Door Policy – Solves issues with two-way, open and friendly communication.
- 5S – Maintains and promotes good housekeeping by following the philosophy “Everything has a place. Everything in its place”.
- Safety First - Obey the plant’s safety rules and procedures by wearing PPE at all times and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries are the expected standard.

- Attend and participate in Team, Department, Plant-wide and any other meetings as required.
- Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each work station.
- Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets BGM standards, to include the changing of weld tips, wire spools, and cleaning of nozzles to ensure efficiency of weld robots.
- Comply with our quality culture to ensure quality products- “Do not take one, do not make one, and do not pass one along”.
- Maintain proper documentation of production.
- Flexible to work overtime.
- Perform other duties as required.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Related experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
