Role Summary

Quality system Specilaist is responsible for support, implementation, and maintenance of all internal quality system requirements including Automotive SPICE.  Proactively identify industry regulatory compliance trends in order to close any gaps within the Quality System.  Identify, support, and develop departmental resources to achieve business and quality objectives, while remaining compliant to the Quality System(s).  Coordinate and manage all audits (internal, external, corporate, OEM customers,ASPICE)

Key Responsibilities

Support, implementation, and maintenance of all external quality system requirements to assure IATF 16949, ISO 9001 2015, corporate audit compliance.

Support, implementation, and maintenance of all internal quality system requirements

Proactively identify industry regulatory compliance trends in order to close any gaps within the Quality System.

Track corrective actions to ensure schedules are met and document results

Monitoring and reporting of Key Process Indicators.

Assist, support & execute ASPICE activities including assessments

Support high importance problem solving activities

Identify, support, and develop departmental resources to achieve business and quality objectives, while remaining compliant to the Quality System(s).

Coordinate and manage all audits (internal, external, corporate, ASPICE, OEM customers).

Review and approve changes to processes, products and Quality System.

Maintain internal corrective action database to ensure timely closure of quality system non-conformances.

Promote and support multi-discipline teamwork, i.e., activities that support the Magna management system inclusive of vision, strategic initiatives, and tactical plan.

Coordinate management review periodically to assess quality system.

Train others in implementation and maintenance of Magna’s internal quality systems.

Other Quality Systems duties as required

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor or Master’s in Engineering

3+ years’ experience in Quality systems, Engineering quality, Engineering design and development, project management or comparable experience in Automotive Electronics Industry.  Experience duration to be evaluated based on education level
