Job Introduction



In this role, you are responsible for all IT / OT and HRIS related topics across all Cosma manufacturing operations in Europe, United Kingdom and Ireland.  Location: hybrid / on any Magna site in Europe - with high willingness to travel.

In this role the job holder reports to the European IT Director, Regional BRM and is responsible for all IT / OT / HR-related tools and processes.  You will be responsible for providing IT / OT support to the divisions regarding audits, compliance, machine hygiene, infrastructure and general assistance where needed.  The incumbent will also support the Group Office and divisions within the region in all IT-related topics and act as liaison between them and the IT organization regarding the execution of the IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities


  • Help drive and implement the agreed IT / OT strategy
  • Initiate, lead and support the technical implementation of new IT tools
  • Create guidelines and documentation of IT system relevant business processes
  • Coordinate, define, sign-off and test change requests for function applications
  • Provision structural and technical know-how to find individual technical solutions in-line with Group strategy and wider Magna directives
  • Process support requests and provide assistance for HR-related systems (Workday, SAP-HCM, Payroll and Time & Attendance)
  • Ensure proper authorization and Security roles / access rights in HR systems in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Support divisional HRMs / HR key users
  • Support divisional IT / OT personnel

Key Qualifications/Requirements


  • Academic degree in IT, Business Administration or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • High level knowledge of current IT systems, infrastructure, auditing and compliance
  • Know-how / experience with HR processes, data protection and labor law
  • Good knowledge of / experience with SAP-HCM and Workday HCM applications as well as other HRIS systems
  • High internal and external customer orientation, cooperation, and excellent team skills
  • Good interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skills, structural thinking
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing business
  • Open and cooperative mindset, Hands-on mentality
  • Experience with HR and IT customers, showing patience and excellent communication skills,
  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills. German is a plus.
