PLC and robot programmer (MAGNA Body & Chassis Hungary)

For our new division Magna Body & Chassis Hungary (location Vecses) we are looking for the PLC and robot programmer.

The PLC and robot programmer is responsible for reprogramming PLCs and Robot programs to keep equipment continuously running with maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowing and be able to reprogram PLC and robot programs according to the needs of plant.
• Develop own programs if required.
• Be able to initiate and diagnose communication between different devices, visa Profinet, Ethernet.
• Check programs in press lines, welding assembly lines and over equipment for elimination of unplanned breakdowns.
• Be part of team for purchasing, modification and testing of related equipment.
• Well know electric diagrams for different equipment, know basic principles of operation for devices.
• Propose and implement actions for improving operations.
• Support programming of industry 4.0 on all equipment, database, servers etc
• Develop and provide trainings in programming basics for an electricians.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Experienced programmer of industrial robots. Preferably KUKA. Provide certification if exist.
• Experienced programmer of PLC systems. Preferably SIEMENS, provide certification if exist.
• Experience in programming and keep in running for industrial lines.
• Experience in Pyton programming will be plus.
• Experience with database programming and 4.0 industry processes will be preferable.

Work Environment

• International Business Travel might be expected from time to time.
• Production and office work environment.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete communication to create and maintain excellent working relations.
• A driver’s license is preferable.
