Job Introduction

In this role the job holder reports to the HR Director Cosma Europe and is responsible for supporting all human resources initiatives of Cosma Human Resources and overseeing the Human Resources function within the region. The incumbent will act as principle liaison between Group and Divisional Human Resources in support of the Magna Fair Enterprise Culture. You are responsible for the support of all human resources activities across all Cosma International manufacturing operations in Austria, Germany and Slovakia, location Sailauf isn't mandatory.

Key Responsibilities 1

  • Working in collaboration with the HR Director Cosma Europe and HR Group Office Team to initiate & execute Human Resources Business Partnership activities aligned to the strategic priorities as defined through the business planning and reporting processes
  • Act as ambassador of Magna / Cosma’s Corporate Culture in all interactions with the divisions, groups and Magna
  • Manage, provide advice and guidance to HR Managers / Teams in allocated region
  • Cascade, monitor and manage strategy, directions and policies
  • Make sure HR best practices get highlighted and shared across the divisions
  • Planning of HR resource and supporting recruitment, onboarding and development of the HR Manager and Teams
  • Support recruiting of 1st level management roles and key positions in divisions
  • Support any business growth/downsizing activities; working closely with GM/HRM/Corporate/Unions/Works Councils
  • Support all People Development and Training activities as well as Employer Branding initiatives within the region

Key Responsibilites 2

  • Support plants with the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS), including conduction, result presentations, focus groups and supporting with action plans (creation as well as monitoring)
  • Support the achievement of HR related MAFACT practices
  • Prepare, collect, monitor and analyze HR Key Performance Indicators, incl. regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Implement and drive common policies and procedures in line with our philosophy, and share best practices with the group
  • Support HSE topics/activities
  • Any other duties reasonably requested by the management / HR Group Office Team

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in a HR discipline, law, psychology etc.
  • Experienced gained in a fast-paced manufacturing / industrial sector
  • Senior level of HR Experience
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels in the business
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Fluent in English and German; other languages an asset
  • Fully PC literate – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP HR Module, Workday and SuccessFactors is beneficial
