Role Summary

The System Test - Working Student is supporting different areas of the system test, i.e. writing scripts in python, VBA or similar to simplify recurrent tasks as well as supporting test execution on bench level. The tasks are similar to small projects depending on the background and it’s on the student’s own authority to successfully end the projects. Also, the working student supports on analysing videos from previous recorded test drives.

A good knowledge of ADAS based on own interests and lectures as well as the interest to test systems on bench level is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate test cases in CAPL, python, or similar
  • Automate recurrent tasks in data handling, for reports or overviews
  • Automate Report Generation in python
  • Supporting built-up of test benches, configuring test benches.
  • Execute manual or automated test cases and uploading results into a database
  • The working student supports the entire team on daily tasks

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Student of electrical engineering, automobile technology or similar
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture (CAN, CANFD, automotive ethernet, …)
  • Programming knowledge (python preferred)
  • Ideally knowledge of CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, CAPL
  • First experience with dSpace Automation desk
  • Working knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, CAN and LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI and other automotive networks and related tools
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (speak & write)
  • Local language desirable
  • German driver's license necessary
