Job Summary

The Software Working student shall participate in designing the software components (detailed design), program the software components and test the software components based on the software architecture and the software requirements within a serial or core project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development (design, implement, test and debug) of core and/or application specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects
  • Develop software in compliance with a formal ASPICE/CMMi based Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP)
  • Verify software requirements at component and bench level
  • Aware of white and black box testing - Perform unit test using VectorCast
  • Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to software
  • Aware of static check analysis

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
  • Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of embedded software development and microcontrollers
  • Working knowledge of configuration management (preferably PTC/Github)
  • Knowledge of MS Office package
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (verbal and written)
