Role Summary

The Material Handler supplies the material to the production lines and shipping area and ensures that materials are accurately entered into CMS and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • To organize and stock all material requirements for production operations utilizing First In/First Out.
  • Ensure compliance with SWI for delivery routes.
  • Check all full, acceptable totes, racks and bins for proper bar code labels.
  • Scan and load parts to the next stock location and ensure the accuracy of inventory in CMS.
  • Count and label all unused parts and return to the stock area.
  • Inspect/Accept parts per work instruction/ process book/ procedures to ensure correct quantity, quality, and racking.
  • Recommend proposals for improving production, processes, systems productivity, and work environment.
  • Aware of Safety, Health & Environmental policies.

Additional Information

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships
  • Ability to meet production requirements
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions.

 Physical Demands:

  • Continuous walking or standing
  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive motion
