Your responsibilities

Do you want to create the drive systems of future electric cars? Are you excited about innovative concepts and technologies? Do you have a broad technical knowledge and like to solve complex challenges?
As Technical Project Manager you guide and manage complex projects with the goal to optimize future eDrive systems. In particular you are dealing with the fields e-motor, power electronics, and control engineering. You are integrated in the advanced engineering department within an international company acting on a global scale. In close cooperation with different engineering groups, as well as external partners in industry and research, your exciting tasks in this position include:

  • Technical lead of cross-functional innovation projects 
  • Analysis, development, and integration of features in the field of e-motor, power electronics, and control engineering
  • Assessment of the state-of-the-art and innovations in the field of eDrive systems 
  • Interface between the engineering groups e-Motor, inverter, and control
  • Close cooperation with other engineering teams within the company, as well as industrial or scientific cooperation partners

Your qualifications

  • Academic degree in a technical field
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in the field of eDrives (or a closely related field)
  • Experience in project management is considered as a plus
  • Experience in common development tools, (i.e. Matlab)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as connectivity
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; German advantageous

Compensation
For this function, we offer an attractive compensation package that matches your individual experience and qualifications. The gross annual salary for 38.5 hours is 54,600 € p.a. (metal collective agreement). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background. 

Additional Information

This position has the potential to work out of 3 different locations

  • Our St. Valentin site, with around 800 employees, is easily accessible both by private and public transport thanks to its excellent links to the Westautobahn and Westbahn railway lines. The unique natural and cultural landscape of the Mostviertel region around St. Valentin offers a wide range of leisure activities. Urban flair can be found in the nearby Upper Austrian capital Linz.
  • Our location in Traiskirchen is only 20 kilometers away from Vienna and is easily accessible by car as well as by public transport. The location in the middle of a beautiful landscape close to the city is definitely recommendable as a place to live or work.
  • Our Lannach site, with around 2,000 employees, can be easily reached from Graz via the highway in just 15 minutes, and the Styrians' favorite excursion destination - the South Styrian Wine Route - is also very close by for an evening outing.
