Role Summary

Previous Manufacturing experience not required - we will train.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible to ensure that all safety and quality start-up procedures are followed.
  2. Authorized to stop the process if it does not meet safety and/or quality requirements and notify Leader, Supervisor or Quality personal immediately. Follow Leader / Supervisor instructions after the leader / supervisor reviewed the situation.
  3. Responsible to follow SWI (Standard Work Instructions) and JES (Job Element Sheets)
  4. Following all required inspection requirements at the specified frequencies.
  5. Understand the use of gages and measurement equipment following provided training.
  6. Responsible to escalate any Quality, Environmental, Ergonomic, Safety or Production concerns to Team Leader. 
  7. Follow all applicable processes including but not limited to control of nonconforming outputs, labeling, and production reporting.
  8. Responsible to accurately report production and non-conforming product.
  9. Responsible to maintain and improve the cleanliness and organization (5S) of the work area.
  10. Responsible to speak up if any concerns arise about performing an assignment safely and correctly producing products without defects.
  11. Attend and participate in team and employee meetings
  12. Report any injuries, accidents, equipment malfunctions, miss hits, property damage, near miss incidences etc. to Supervisor or Team Leader and complete Employee Incident Report.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Ability to understand, speak and write English.
  2. Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  3. Team oriented work approach.
  4. Ability to work overtime as required.
  5. Satisfactory attendance and performance record.
  6. Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  7. Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  8. Provide documentation to show ability to work in the United States
  9. Must be 18 years of age or older
  10. Pass skill assessments based on position

Additional Information

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required - Slip and Oil Safety Shoes (other PPE will be provided)
