For our R&D Team in Graz or in St. Valentin (near Linz), we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer, Chassis Systems (m/f/d).
In this exciting and challenging position, you are responsible for leading the development of concepts, prototyping, validation and launching them into production. You work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, agile R&D engineering development environment where you are able to exercise freedom to innovate and explore new methods and solutions.
Your Tasks
- Develop chassis systems like controllable suspensions and by-wire-systems incl model building
- Function development and integration in vehicle motion control.
- Support the ideation process while identifying gaps in the current product or manufacturing technology to guide and provide future R&D efforts.
- Evaluate technologies and product designs with compliance to needed principle and standards.
- Working cross domain with e.g. ADAS, complete vehicle,… and in alignment with internal and external partners.
- Prepare and present project progress reports.
- Validate your developments on (virtual) bench environment as well as in test vehicle
Your Profile
- Basic understanding about automotive technology in general and chassis (mechatronics) systems and functional integration
- Basic understanding of Software/function development
- Understanding of engineering principles and simulation including vehicle dynamics
- Advantageous, basic knowledge and/or ability to learn: Mathworks Suite, Python, GiT, CAD, automotive data & application tools (e.g. Vector, ETAS), vehicle simulation (e.g. CarSim, CarMaker)

- The minimum annual remuneration package for this position is EUR 50.000,- with corresponding qualification. The actual salary is higher and depends on your education and specific work experience
