For our R&D Team in Graz or in St. Valentin (near Linz), we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer, Chassis Systems (m/f/d).
In this exciting and challenging position, you are responsible for leading the development of concepts, prototyping, validation and launching them into production. You work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, agile R&D engineering development environment where you are able to exercise freedom to innovate and explore new methods and solutions.

Your Tasks

  •  
  • Develop chassis systems like controllable suspensions and by-wire-systems incl model building
  • Function development and integration in vehicle motion control.
  • Support the ideation process while identifying gaps in the current product or manufacturing technology to guide and provide future R&D efforts. 
  • Evaluate technologies and product designs with compliance to needed principle and standards.
  • Working cross domain with e.g. ADAS, complete vehicle,… and in alignment with internal and external partners. 
  • Prepare and present project progress reports. 
  • Validate your developments on (virtual) bench environment as well as in test vehicle
  •  

Your Profile

  • Basic understanding about automotive technology in general and chassis (mechatronics) systems and functional integration
  • Basic understanding of Software/function development
  • Understanding of engineering principles and simulation including vehicle dynamics
  • Advantageous, basic knowledge and/or ability to learn: Mathworks Suite, Python, GiT, CAD, automotive data & application tools (e.g. Vector, ETAS), vehicle simulation (e.g. CarSim, CarMaker)
