Your responsibilities
As Expert Power Module Manufacturing, you will be part of a project team, consisting of several very experienced engineers from the Magna Group. Based on your experience and know-how, you will support and consult the project for MPT power modules development and manufacturing for 800V SiC transfer moulded half bridges.
Your tasks in Detail are:
- Support and consult MPT power module development team and build up core know how for power module design
- Support and consult MPT Advanced Manufacturing team and external manufacturing partner for team and equipment build up
- Bring Design for Manufacturing inputs to the team
- Define critical processes and define execution plan to minimize risk and to support a safe launch
- Actively supports team with best practice and lessons learned
- Drive and implement design improvements based on experience and expertise
- Support PFMEA
- Define and taylor existing development and manufacturing processes towards power module design
Your qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing / industrialization of high voltage power modules in high production volumes, ideally for automotive applications
- Proven know how in key processes such as sintering, bonding, molding and testing of power modules
- Solid knowledge of automotive standard requirements of power electronics (IATF 16949)
- Experience in quality management systems (8D, 6Sigma, etc.) and efficiency improvement systems (Lean, VSM, etc.)
- Experience in serial development along the whole product life cycle
- Proven problem solving and leadership skills with experience in global collaboration and willingness to share experience
- Excellent analytic skills and problem-solving competence
- Fluent in English

Compensation
Commitment and qualification pay off at MAGNA Powertrain: For this position we offer an annual gross starting salary from €80,000 on a full-time basis. However, the actual salary will be determined together with you on the basis of previous service, qualifications, relevant professional experience and the collective agreement of the vehicle industry.
