What you can expact

Do you want to create the drive systems of future electric cars? Are you excited about new and innovative concepts and technologies? Do you have a broad technical knowledge and do you like to solve complex challenges?
As senior engineer you are integrated in the advanced engineering group within an international company acting on a global scale. You assess new and innovative technologies for traction inverters especially in the field of power electronics. In close cooperation with other departments and engineering groups as well as external partners in industry and research your exciting tasks in this position include:

  • Technical lead in predevelopment projects for the power electronics of traction inverter
  • Review of the results of work packages to ensure quality standards
  • Support Project leads in planning and task definition
  • Mentoring, guidance and training of colleagues on the job
  • Independent execution of feasibility studies
  • Steering of suppliers and external partners in advanced engineering projects
  • Assessment and evaluation of new ideas in the innovation management process
  • Building and maintaining a (global) network in the specific area to ensure know how exchange
     

What you bring along

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineer or similar
  • 5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry or with drive systems
  • Methodic way of working with focus on model-based development
  • Ability to break down and get an overview of complex challenges and systems
  • Communication and presentation skills 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, German advantageous

Salary:  
For this function, we offer an attractive compensation package that matches your individual experience and qualifications. The gross monthly salary corresponding to the metal collective agreement for 38.5 hours is at least 58.500 € (p.a.). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background.
