About the Role

As the inverter power modules leader, you will be responsible for building and managing a dynamic engineering team on different sites. Due to your extensive knowledge and strong expertise in power modules, you will be tasked with developing of solutions for future drive systems. In ongoing communication with the customer, you will represent the company and guiding projects with a focus on electrification.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide and develop the inverter power module engineering team
  • Develop and implement the engineering strategy for power module design and industrialization
  • Lead the research, design, and development of power module solutions, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and cost targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate inverter solutions into existing products
  • Manage the budget for inverter power module design industrialization, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective project execution
  • Build and strengthen strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and industry partners, including joint ventures

Your preferred qualifications

  • Technical education (masters/Ph.D.) in the field of electrical engineering/electronics or mechatronics
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive and/or semiconductor industry
  • Experience in leading and managing engineering teams
  • Knowledge of power electronics and inverters and their development 
  • Excellent German and English language skills are a must
  • Knowledge of quality and functional safety standards (ISO / TS)

It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive remuneration package. The gross salary (All-In) is at least € 100.000 p.a. including a variable payment for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your professional experience.
