Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and development of Functional Safety software components
  • Technical leading of a development team
  • Negotiate technical details with customer and suppliers
  • Fulfill the safety concept which will be provided by FuSa Manager and propose improvements to him.
  • Coordinates and is accountable for the analysis, planning and development of Functional safety related requirements and standards
  • Analyses and understands customer function requirements using requirements management tools and processes.
  • Is responsible for the decomposition of customer requirements directly to SW (SRS) level acc. to agreed strategy from Requirements Manager
  • Reports in the project to SW Lead and FuSa Manger
  • Interact with supplier for defect fixing in SW components

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities (listed above) in serial development.
  • Knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
  • Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16 bit and 32 bit micro-controllers
  • Experience with configuration and development of Autosar components
  • Experience with functional safety in embedded systems
  • Strong knowledge of IS026262
