Role Summary

The project lead is responsible for leading project specific ADAS open road test campaigns for data collection activities. A key role in functional performance test department and leading project specific data collection team. Test lead closely align with project specific labelling and KPI(Key Performance Indicator) team, Function Owner team (Function development), HiL (Hardware in the Loop) team and functional test manager. Contribute domain specific technical and managemental key inputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand functional scope of product(s), project(s) and function(s)
  • Leading and driving project specific Data collection team to archive project success
  • Able to lead team of >6 people
  • Supplier management
  • Leading project specific data collection discussion with organization and with customer
  • First interface between data collection team and project specific functional performance test team (functional performance test manager, data management, HIL reprocessing, and labelling & KPI team)
  • Planning, coordination of world wide test drives with up to 30 vehicles
  • Support creation of Carnets and route planning
  • Tracking of current status and progress of test campaigns
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Support in debugging and risk assessment activities together with test manager and Fos

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge in ADAS series project(s)
  • Coordination of test campaigns
  • ADAS functions’ (AEB, OD, ACC, LDW, TSR etc.) understanding
  • Working knowledge of AWS (amazon web service)
  • ISO 26262 working knowledge 
  • Working knowledge of product development and product testing engineering practices in automotive field
  • Master’s / diploma degree in computer science, physics, mechatronics, automotive, statistics, mathematics or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of UML, VISIO, MS Office package
  • Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, CAN and LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI and other automotive networks and related tools as plus
  • Proficiency in English is must (speaking & writing)
  • German Language is a plus
  • Working knowledge in planned and structured approach
  • Working knowledge of problem-solving techniques
  • Working knowledge of PTC
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
  • Able to work independently with supervision
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment
  • Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
  • Travel (domestic) may require
