About the Role
Lead the global team of Category Leaders and Buyers, major focus on IT: IT Licenses, IT Contracts, IT tools and services. Additional responsibilities over Testing engineering equipment and MRO
As Manager (m/f/x) - Global Indirect Procurement you will work and collaborate through the entire Magna Electronics organization to support the daily operations but also be part of the needs and set up for future products and platforms. You will act in a pro active mindset in order support future business and adapt for changes in the daily procurement activities, where you monitor and analyze for improvements and cost efficiency. One Important main task is to secure that Magnas policy and way of working are fulfilled and aligned in the team and stakeholders. You and Your team will be in charge of all procurement activities for material and services, such as indirect supplies, Professional services and more. We can see that working in a Global context is a benefit, so also experience in General Supply Base Management.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Global Procurement team
- Category Strategy development with major focus on IT: IT Licenses, IT Contracts, IT tools and services. Additional responsibilities over Testing engineering equipment and MRO
- Group budget for Global Indirect Procurement & KPI reporting
- Furthermore Contract management as well as elaborating savings (Hard P&L and Soft)
- Create an environment and know how to develop Indirect Procurement Team
- The go-to person in daily business for all procurement activities related to indirect material and service including
Who we are looking for
- University degree within Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent education /work experience
- Strong collaborative focus and ability to promote good cooperation within the entire organization.
- Global experience in leadership and staff development, preferably as a group manager.
- Global experience in indirect procurement area (IT Category)
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Experience in leading negotiations, strategic analysis and managing a supply base, category strategy developments
- Good analytical skills and data-driven approach
