About the Role
The Analyst, MES is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES, including WMS) daily operations and projects.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead manufacturing solutions (MES / WMS / ANDON / EAM) projects / change requests.
• 2nd level support of existing MES solutions; coordination of 1st/3rd level support.
• System monitoring.
• Continuous improvement of MES solutions and processes.
• Collaborate with the business users to gather, confirm and document user requirements.
• Collaborate with the business users to define and map (document) business processes, both current and future.
• Root cause analysis and following up until problem is resolved.
• Manage MES vendor to deliver software changes and bug-fix.
• Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines for software applications.
• Train key/end users to operate new or modified software applications.
• Regular meeting with business users on best practice sharing and open issue tracking.
• Recommend, schedule and perform software improvements and upgrades.
• Continuously challenge past practices by actively exploring and implementing new solutions and methodologies to improve the quality and time to market of our product and services to the company.
• Other duties as required.
Who we are looking for
• Bachelor degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering.
• In-depth experience with MS-SQL database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with various development technologies is a plus.
• Good analytical skills and ability to work with customer oriented teams in a global environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills.
• Flexible, independent team player in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
• Problem solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Profound English language skills.
• Acceptable for business trips
Your preferred qualifications
• 5+ years’ IT related working experience, including 3+ years’ project management & operation support experience in MES.
• Hands-on experience on trouble shooting and project delivery.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and/or logistics processes.
• Experience on automotive industry is a plus.
• Experience on support of Warehouse Management System preferred.
