Job Introduction

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) System Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of all layers of IAM applications, including Authorization/Authentication, Identity Registry Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Account Management and Account Creation/Management/Provisioning in data repositories. The role may focus on technical or administrative aspects of IAM or encompass a mixture of both.

Major Responsibilities
  • Designs, configures, tests, implements, supports and administers centralized global identity and privileged access management (IAM and PAM) solutions including local, cloud, hybrid integration services. 
  • Manages, maintains, and monitors IAM and PAM application environment, applies appropriate tuning and updates as necessary. Reports and provides guidance on configuration/settings. 
  • Participates in development planning sessions, weekly team status meetings and create/update appropriate project management documentation as required. 
  • Works with vendors to ensure needed coordination is in place between application owners and identity management development and support teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Education
  • Completion of university degree (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Microsoft Server Certifications is of advantage.
  • Active Directory / Azure Active Directory Certifications is of advantage.
  • Azure Cloud Certifications is of advantage.
Work Experience
  • 4 years' work-related experience in Business/Technology.
Skills and Competencies

The IAM team is responsible for Magna’s global IAM/PAM server infrastructure and the IAM software. It is responsible for provisioning support which includes ticket management and customer service. Due to the importance of this position, it is expected that a person supporting IAM has basic troubleshooting skills with networking and computer systems, can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Regular overnight travel: 10-25% of the time
