About the Role

Join the Interior Sensing Systems team to help lead the development of next-gen fusion Interior Sensing Features from Occupant Monitoring to Child Detection and beyond.  Looking for self-starters who thrive in dynamic work environments and enjoy the challenge of thinking outside the box to develop new and innovative features with the understanding of what it takes to execute those ideas.  As a system architect, you will be tasked with investigating and profiling new and existing sensor technologies to help identify their potential uses for our Interior Sensing features.  You will work alongside system architects to aid in modeling the sensors as well as feature owners to help in the development of and modeling of new features that leverage those sensing technologies.
 
 

Your Responsibilities

  • Investigate, benchmark and profile sensing technologies
  • Contribute to the physical architecture by modeling the sensors in SysML
  • Develop modular logical architecture that incorporates multiple sensing systems 
  • Develop clean slate functional architecture that incorporates multiple systems based on Use Cases
  • Identify synergies with existing system architectures to maximize architecture re-use
  • Work with system architects of underlying systems to extend their architectures with newly identified feature functionality
     

Who we are looking for

Education requirements:

  • Minimum of a BS in an engineering field for both positions.  Advanced degrees are a bonus.  

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in “clean slate” architecture development
  • Expert in model-based Systems Engineering (SysML)
  • Strong technical understanding of sensors and embedded system architecture
     

Your preferred qualifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with computer vision - based systems
  • Several years of experience leading architecture development
  • Strong understanding of feature development cycle (requirements/validation/SW test/embedding)
  • Requirements authoring experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect tool
  • Experience with Codebeamer tool
