About the Role

 

We are searching for a Process Engineer to perform the duties described below for our plant in Spartanburg SC USA.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor and Increase production quality and quantity
  • Process development, creation of layout for manufacturing processes
  • Optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Planning of renovation work
  • Inquiry and procurement
  • Request and procurement of auxiliary operation and manufacturing aids
  • Project management with suppliers when purchasing new systems
  • Preparation of calculations for conversions, auxiliary and manufacturing aids
  • Capacity planning in cooperation with production
  • Planning and implementation of process developments and development of new technologies
  • Completion of special projects and FMEAs
  • Implementation of process development in cooperation with R&D

Who we are looking for

 

  • Experience with KUKA robots strongly preferred
  • Experience with welding robots strongly preferred
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of tool construction, robots, automation assembly and welding technology
  • Experience in FMEA and problem solving techniques

Your preferred qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or 3-5 years of experience as an engineer in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
