What you can expect

As a design engineer of eMotoren (m/f/d) you are the first point of contact for the development of eMotors. You develop eMotors independently and design the electromagnetic designs and thus make a decisive contribution to success. After an appropriate training period, you will take on the following areas of responsibility:

Development of electric traction motors
Electromagnetic (EMAG) architectural design and detailed optimization
Development and continuous improvement of calculation and simulation tools (benchmarking and calibration with measurements)
Identification and implementation of technical innovations
Support for testing and industrialization of electric motors
Evaluation and creation of requirements
Contact to industrialization partners, suppliers and scientific partners

What you bring along

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or comparable
Experience in the design of electrical machines and knowledge of electrical drivetrains
Experience with FE tools for EMAG design, preferably ANSYS Maxwell 2D/3D and Motor-CAD
Insight in industrialization of electric motors is an advantage
Experience in automotive requirements including relevant guidelines and codes
Knowledge of requirements management system tools as PTC Integrity, is an advantage
Passion for electric machines, drivetrains and e-mobility
Fluent in English, German is advantageous
Team-player with communicative attitude

In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 54.000 (p.a.) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
