What you can expect
As a design engineer of eMotoren (m/f/d) you are the first point of contact for the development of eMotors. You develop eMotors independently and design the electromagnetic designs and thus make a decisive contribution to success. After an appropriate training period, you will take on the following areas of responsibility:
- Development of electric traction motors
- Electromagnetic (EMAG) architectural design and detailed optimization
- Development and continuous improvement of calculation and simulation tools (benchmarking and calibration with measurements)
- Identification and implementation of technical innovations
- Support for testing and industrialization of electric motors
- Evaluation and creation of requirements
- Contact to industrialization partners, suppliers and scientific partners
What you bring along
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or comparable
- Experience in the design of electrical machines and knowledge of electrical drivetrains
- Experience with FE tools for EMAG design, preferably ANSYS Maxwell 2D/3D and Motor-CAD
- Insight in industrialization of electric motors is an advantage
- Experience in automotive requirements including relevant guidelines and codes
- Knowledge of requirements management system tools as PTC Integrity, is an advantage
- Passion for electric machines, drivetrains and e-mobility
- Fluent in English, German is advantageous
- Team-player with communicative attitude

In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 54.000 (p.a.) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
