What you can expect

As a design engineer of eMotoren (m/f/d) you are the first point of contact for the development of eMotors. You develop eMotors independently and design the electromagnetic designs and thus make a decisive contribution to success. After an appropriate training period, you will take on the following areas of responsibility:

  • Development of electric traction motors
  • Electromagnetic (EMAG) architectural design and detailed optimization
  • Development and continuous improvement of calculation and simulation tools (benchmarking and calibration with measurements)
  • Identification and implementation of technical innovations
  • Support for testing and industrialization of electric motors
  • Evaluation and creation of requirements
  • Contact to industrialization partners, suppliers and scientific partners

What you bring along

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or comparable
  • Experience in the design of electrical machines and knowledge of electrical drivetrains
  • Experience with FE tools for EMAG design, preferably ANSYS Maxwell 2D/3D and Motor-CAD
  • Insight in industrialization of electric motors is an advantage
  • Experience in automotive requirements including relevant guidelines and codes
  • Knowledge of requirements management system tools as PTC Integrity, is an advantage
  • Passion for electric machines, drivetrains and e-mobility
  • Fluent in English, German is advantageous
  • Team-player with communicative attitude

In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 54.000 (p.a.) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
